Tsavorite woven gold hoops
Oh the exotic beauty of these hoops! The contrast between the intense green of the tsavorite gems and the woven gold looks mysterious and ancient. The two elements compliment each other perfectly. Tsavorite is a type of rare green garnet. It gets that green from trace amounts of vanadium and chromium. The hoops are painstakingly woven from 20 and 30 gauge 14k gold filled wire. They are slightly over 1"across.
Style Guyide: This is one fancy-pants pair of earrings. Wear them with black for dramatic contrast, or with matching green satin and big up-do hair to look like a movie star.
Note: Why are the woven gem hoops so expensive? Because tsavorite of this quality is expensive, but also, i have to count the stitches to make sure each gem is spaced perfectly from the others. Yeah, it's just as annoying as you imagine. I love it.
