These adorable hoops feature dozens of tiny polished iolites densely wrapped around small gold 14k gold filled hoops. They are finished with spun gold wire details. Iolite is a very interesting stone because it is strongly pleochroic, meaning that it shows two distinct colors when viewed from different angles. I think this is very cool. It means that as these earrings move around they have a subtle ripple of color from grayish blue to soft violet. The effect is quite lovely.
